PPO Health Insurance Plans
The office is in-network with many health insurance companies. The office is in-network with Medicare. The office is in-network with the PPO plans Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross, Blue Shield, Cigna, TriCare and United Healthcare. PPO health insurance plans allow members to visit any healthcare provider without a referral
Medi-Cal Health Insurance
The office is in-network with Medi-Cal and Care Advantage health plans. Both of those plans are managed by the Health Plan of San Mateo HMO. The office does not accept Medi-Cal that is not managed by the Health Plan of San Mateo.
HMO Health Insurance Plans
The office is also in-network with the HMO health plans Canopy, Hill Physicians Medical Group, CCHP, AAMG, Imperial Health Plan and Jade Medical. You will need a referral from your physician prior to being seen utilize your health benefit for services.
The office is in-network with most health insurance supplemental plans such as AARP, GEHA, HealthNet, UMR and others. If you don’t see your insurance plan listed, contact the office and a staff member can check your plan for you. Many health insurance plans allow you to see any healthcare provider
At your visit, the office will ask that you present your insurance card and a photo ID prior to rendering services so that we can make a copy of it for billing purposes. Please contact Peninsula Hearing Services if you are unsure if the office is in-network with your health insurance plan.
